ARTICLE #3 MANAGING YOUR PACKAGES

Managing Your Packages

Log in to your account using your desktop or laptop here. We’re going back into “SERVICES” on the left hand of your screen to build and manage your Packages. Setting up Packages is vital for studios because they are the products that you sell to your customers; collections of a service that you offer (eg. PT 60 mins 4 Pack).

We have already created a placeholder Packages for you. You can either choose to EDIT the existing Packages or ADD a new Packages as you prefer. Note that if you ADD new Packages you will have to associate them to Services, Service Categories and Trainers as well.

Packages

Click PACKAGES from the banner of options now showing at the top of your screen. You can design different personal training and small group training packages (and more) to sell to your Clients.

To add a new Package, click the image-png-4 button on the right side of the screen.

The pop up form will load displaying five sets of options that you must edit to add a new Package:

  1. Basic Settings
  2. Package / Package Type
  3. Package / Package Credits
  4. Payment Informations
  5. Notifications

Rob is back and will talk you through each of the five sections as you create your first Package.

Basic Settings

Fill in all of the following fields:

  1. Title of Package
  2. Description of package
  3. Locations - where the Package is offered in
  4. Status - whether the Package is Active / Inactive
  5. Logo - a specific Logo can be added (optional and only useful if shown to Clients)
  6. Video - a specific Video can be added (optional)
Tip: Clients is not selected by default in payment settings, make sure you select Clients in to publish packages to your members

Package Type

The three most popular Packages or Package Types are:

  1. Single
  2. Expirable
  3. Subscription

Single Package

A single package has no expiration date. Credits will never expire for Clients if this option is selected.

Expirable Package

An expirable package has a specific expiration period assigned to it. Options include a specific number of:

  • Days
  • Weeks
  • Months

If a Package is assigned to a Client and it is marked as EXPIRABLE and the credits are not used with the expiration period, the Package will expire and the unused credits will be re-credited back to the system. The Client will lose any unused credits.

If you want to extend the expiration period of an assigned Package, you can do this in the Client Packages section in the individual Client profile under products.

Rob will talk you through two examples on how to set up Packages:

Subscription Package

A subscription package is something that a Client “Subscribes” to, that means they will continue to receive that Package automatically according to the Subscription rules you choose (defined by the Subscription Package type). You can decide how credits are assigned to your Services over specific time periods and select from a variety of credit and Payment options.

When adding a Subscription Package there are 4 sections which need to be completed:

  • Type
  • Payment Plan
  • Valid For
  • Renewal

For a step by step guide on each of the 4 sections when setting up your Subscription Packages, click here.

Tip: Clients will not be able to purchase any packages with you until you have added in your Stripe details in your TRAINER profile (not the MANAGER profile) in your "SETTINGS" on the left hand side of your screen after you have logged in.
