This document outlines some of the most commonly found issues with packages.
PAYMENT SETTINGS > VISIBLE FOR
Trainers need to set who they want this package to be visible for. If a role is not specified, such as Manager or FOHM, then this role wont be able to see this package, to assist the trainer with any errors or to assign it to client.
If the package has not been configured to be visible to Trainers, then the trainer cannot see their own package.
If the package has not been configured to be visible to Clients, then clients cannot see to purchase this package.
PAYMENT SETTINGS > RESTRICT PACKAGE CREDITS TO BE USED ONLY WITH SELECTED TRAINER
As FF UK trainer are all self employed and the money paid for a package goes directly to the trainer, it is critical that the package is set to YES ONLY ALLOW BOOKINGS WITH PAYEE.
If this field is not selected, the client will be able to purchase the product but wont be able to book with the trainer.
TRAINER HAS PACKAGE BUT HAS NO SERVICES
If a trainer has been associated to the Package but has no Services, the member will be able to buy a package with them but will never be able to book with the trainer.
You can spot this on the Trainers profile as they will not show a list of Services on the page below.
TRAINER HAS PACKAGES BUT NOT FOR EVERY SERVICE
If a trainer has been associated to a variety of Package options, but not one for every Service they have been associated to, then members will not be able to purchase an option for a service that that trainer offers. Clients will see a list of services that the trainer can deliver but they wont be able to book for this service as the trainer has no packages that they can purchase.
PTMs should be extra careful to check that every trainer has a Package option for every Service that they are associated to.
TRAINER HAS SERVICES BUT NO PACKAGES
If a trainer has been associated to a variety of Services, but has not configured any Packages where they are the payee, then a member will be able to see the trainer as an option to book for a specific Service, but wont be able to actually book, as they cannot purchase a Package to allow them to book.
PTMs can check which Services a Trainer has associated to them on the trainer profile area as shown below.
Once PTMs have checked the Services, they should also check which Package options a trainer has associated to them as well. You can do this by going to Services > Packages (as a PTM) and then filtering the Trainer field for the trainers name as shown below.
In example shown above, this trainer has been associated to the following Services:
- PT 60mins
- Virtual PT 60mins
- Group PT 30mins
- Virtual PT 30mins
The Trainer has the following packages:
- Group PT 30mins 10 pack
- PT 60mins 05 pack
Group PT 30mins package will contain the following Services:
- PT 30mins
- Virtual PT 30mins
PT 60mins 05 Pack will contain the following Services:
- PT 60mins
- Virtual PT 60mins
The Trainer has the required products for both PT 60mins and Virtual PT 60mins.
The Trainer will only be able to deliver Group PT 30mins with the package option they have created. They wont be able to deliver Virtual Group PT 30mins as they are not associated to this Service.
The Trainer also have Virtual PT 30mins and has no package option for this service.
Here is a table of Packages that explain what Services a Trainer should be associated to in order to make sure members get the correct result when they go to book or buy.
