      HOW TO TROUBLE-SHOOT ACCESS CONTROL

      Tips to check that each component of Access Control is operating.

      Collect together some information to test with:

      • Get log in details for some test clients so that you can log into the app and generate a QR code for them to test with
        • Client with access
        • Client without access
        • Client with access, but not at this time
      • Load the FKL Access application on a web page.
      • Scan a code on the reader

      Results to check:

      Does the code read?

      Usually a reader gives an audible indication upon a successful read.

      If not check the installation of the reader.
