Adding Sublocations

This tutorial outlines how users can manage sub-locations in the Fisikal platform.

Adding a sub-location

A sublocation is an area associated to a location where activities can be scheduled to occur at.

To create a sublocation, select SERVICES > LOCATIONS and then select EDIT on any of the locations.

To access the following page, click on the sub-menu and select the SUB-LOCATIONS tab.

To create a sublocation, click on the + SUB-LOCATIONS button and input the names of the areas where you want to schedule activities.

If you are using the EGYM Branded Member app, it is recommended to include the club name or short code in the sub-location name for easy identification by members.

Once you have added the list of sub-locations simply select UPDATE.

Adding Sub-locations to occurrences

The sublocation value is only shown in the app, if the occurrence is configured to be delivered at the specific sublocation. If it is not, then the sublocation field is not presented to members.

The following image shows how this is added to occurrences. This can be done on an individual occurrence bases, or by selecting the SELECT ALL option on the occurrence form.

Subbing Note

Please note that if you have added a substitute instructor to a class and you select the APPLY TO ALL [x] FUTURE INSTANCES, the instructor shown on the form that you are editing, will be associated to all the future instances.

How this appears in the EGYM BMA

This feature is particularly useful for BMA members who are selecting multiple locations in the classes filter. By including the club name or short code in the sub-location name, it helps members easily identify the club where the class is scheduled. This way, when members view all classes across selected locations, they can quickly see which club the class is taking place at.

In the left screen, you can observe that the sub-location displays the club name in brackets (Bur Dubai).

Similarly, on the right screen, the sub-location field is also visible in the LOCATIONS section of the individual occurrence.
